Suggestion for Lance W June 26, 2015
Reviewer: Roger Beal from West Rouge
Not so much a review, but something that works for me is adding a garden hose quick disconnect (Gardena etc.) to the water-in and water-out. Then I tighten those up with the pipe wrench, but the quick disconnect forever after makes setup a breeze.

It works May 28, 2015

This item works well but for me it has one draw back.  The male hose connections for water need to be tightened with a pipe wrench in order not to leak.  And this is not just a little snug it is over one full turn.  This of course means a pipe wrench to take them off.  If not for that issue it would be 5 stars.

This little chiller works extremely well. It chills my 5 gallon batches in no time. I am very impressed by its performance and for the money you cannot go wrong!

Sturdy Build August 18, 2014
Reviewer: Trevor Whyte from Westville, NS Canada
Bought this on a flash sale for $49.99 and it is SOLID. Great build quality and much heftier than I imagined for the price. I wish I'd ordered a camlock kit at the same time to save on shipping.

UPDATE: I've used this chiller several times now including with an IPA with over a pound of hops. No slowing it down combined with the DC pump sold here!

Great unit July 21, 2014
Reviewer: Jordan Harris from NB
Bought this to replace my immersion chiller which would take over 30 mins to chill a batch. I can use this with gravity feed and 65 degree tap water, and the wort comes out at 68 f in about 15 minutes. How can you beat that?

Also have used with a pump to recirculate back into the kettle. This was a little slower but still effective.

At a fraction of the cost of the Blichman unit, this is the way to go.
