Alpha 6.3%. Usually considered one of the classic noble hops, Spalt spalter is the landrace hop of Germany's Spalt growing region, closely related to Saaz Saazer and Tettnang Tettnanger. Spalt Spalter has a mild, spicy aroma that is often compared to Czech Saaz or Tettnang Tettnanger. Can be used in any beer recipe calling for a noble hop.

Alpha 4.4%. Tettnang is a true noble aroma variety with slightly spicy characteristics. Its cultivation in Germany is largely limited to the Tettnang region near Lake Constance.
