This Mash King Tun is a supersized 11.7 Gallon/43 Litre beast! The 17% volume increase over traditional coolers ensures you can brew what you want when you want it. Specially built and designed to handle the largest grain bills you can throw at it. Brewing a 1.09 original gravity brew? The Mash King Tun will easily handle it.

This Tun comes with The Trub Trap. Designed to fit perfectly and secure, not float around the bottom like other models. What makes this false bottom special is that it has custom sizing coupled with the silicone gasket, ensuring the tightest fit possible without the worry of scratching up the interior of your cooler. In addition, the false bottom is made out of strong 304 Stainless Steel and the legs allow it to sit 2 3/4" off the bottom of your cooler, and the handle makes removal a breeze.

The Mash King's inside dimensions are 19" x 13 1/4". With its outside dimensions(with lid) being 21 3/8" x 15 1/2".

I'Ve Used This Twice Now Since Purchasing

Pros:- Large mash tun capable of doing 10 batch spargers- Holds temperature- False bottom & hardware are excellentCons:- Since it is large the lid can be a bit tricky to get on sometimesHighly recommended!

So Far So Good

I've brewed 5 batches so far and no problem to report. Does the job.

Lamination Issue

After about 5 brews the interior has a lamination issue to the exterior I now have a large bubble on the inside. I contacted OBK, I was told its plastic don't put boiling water in it. I have never put boiling water in it. However MASH TUNS do expect MASH. my brews call for 75 to 80'C degree HOT WATER to strike. I am not impressed.It is a great performer, just not for a long time.
