Brewer's Grade Stainless Steel False Bottom With Legs - 15 5/8"

There are different designs of false bottoms that are available in the market and this 15 5/8" brewer's grade false bottom with legs is one of them. Constructed from a durable 304 stainless steel mesh, this particular false bottom is great in turning an ordinary brew pot or kettle into a mash tun. It has a thicker gauge which makes it ideal for constant heavy use. It is made to be compatible with any 15-gallon brew pot with spigot installed at the bottom.

This particular false bottom features a 2 1/2" handle and legs that are bolted on at the bottom of the kettle. This is to ensure enough clearance for the wort to flow through.

It has a thicker gauge and better build compared to Anvil and spot welded false bottoms, and as such is ideally suited for heavy use.

Note: With this false bottom, some assembly may be required particularly in attaching the center handle before the legs to keep it stable during the entire lautering process. Although assembly is required, it can be easily detached for cleaning.
