This recipe kit creates an intensely flavoured, big, dark ale with roasty, fruity, and bittersweet notes. Dark fruit flavours meld with roasty, burnt, coffee-like characteristics, similar to a black barleywine, with every dimension of flavour coming into play. It’s rich and complex, with a variable amount of roasted grain, maltiness, fruity esters, hops, and a smooth finish. Aging will affect the intensity, balance, and smoothness of the aromatics and flavours. As this is a recipe kit it does not contain alcohol, it includes ingredients required to brew your own.
