Ss Brewtech Stainless Steel Tri-Clover Spray Ball (Rotating Cip) - 3" TC

I picked up this CIP ball cause I'm lazy. Works great with by 1/2 bbl fermenter. I only had to give the walls a quick wipe after running it for an hour. Picked up a utility pump from the local hardware store to run it. I was also very happy to see that it was threaded into the mounting flange in this way I was able to use it for a keg washer as well with the right additions.

If you provide this with enough flow it does a good job. I got a cheap plastic sump pump off of Amazon (Same one they recommended on the Brewtech website). I think it is 1/4 or 1/5 horsepower. A few chunks of cheap ABS pipe, a bucket, and some PBW. Works a treat on my 14 gallon BME Chronicle. One caution though, always have the sample port open. I think you could do bad things if you let pressure build up too much. That pump moves a lot of water.
