Widely used in commercial breweries across North America, Five Star PBW is a buffered alkaline detergent that is a far better substitute for caustic soda cleaners. PBW is extremely effective in removing protein soils found on brew kettles, fermenters, conditioning tanks, and filters thanks to being formulated as a C.I.P. cleaner. Thanks to the formulation of buffers and mild alkalis, it is safe on both skin and soft materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, and plastics. Will not damage rubber gaskets, soft metals, or your skin.

Can effectively clean items that can't be reached with a brush or sponge, and is strong enough to remove thick, difficult, caked-on organic soils. Environmentally friendly, biodegradable, and will not harm septic systems.

Please Note: This product is recommended for commercial use only

Usage Directions:

Use 1 to 2 ounces per gallon for cleaning kettles
Use 3/4 ounce per gallon for fermenters, kegs, tanks, and other equipment
Soak equipment overnight in solution; rinse the following morning - no scrubbing required!

You Never Have Enough Of PBW

I was a soap guy until I try PBW. Damn this stuff is amasing no more hours of delabaling bottles, no more unwashable wort stain, I might even wash myself with it (kidding)

Good Product, Light Package

The product works just fine. The issue is this is sold as â€œApproximatelyâ€ 4 pounds, and came in 4 x 1 pound, which each 1 pound package is â€œapproximatelyâ€ 1 pound. Mine ranged from 13.9 oz to 14.4 oz. together it weighed 3.5 pounds, quite a significant difference. Sell these as 3.5 pounds or 1 x 4 pound bag thatâ€™s an ounce short and there are no issues.

PBW For The Win!

I'm hook on this product. A little on the pricy side but for the hassle saved and the quality of the clean; I'm so down !Â Â P-S. One of the review said he had underpackaged product; I don't know what's up with their packaging system because mine arrive at 4.5 pound. Maybe they crank it up because of bad reviews or it might be complete chance. Whatever, i love it, PBW for the win !

Amazing!

I was skeptical about the hype around this stuff but after trying to it on my boil kettle which had burn marks on the inside and deposit caked on at the bottom, it is sparkling new after 242 hours! It really works and I'll probably never go back to the pink stuff.

The Best Cleaning Product I Have Ever Used

this stuff is simply amazing! It does EXACTLY what you would think it would do...but better and easier...you gotta try it! You will not regret it...and when it was on sale on Thirsty Thursdays...even better! thanks,

Don't Look Elsewhere, This Is The Beat Deal On PBW

I have scoured the internet and this is the best deal for PBW in Canada (short of ordering a 50lbs pail straight from 5 Star)This does magic on cleaning up boiler, carboy, bottles even removing though stains from sillicon hose at the end of the day.
