American Amber Ale (5.25 US Gal) Extract Kit with Specialty Grains

Moderate hop aromas are citrusy from the American hop character, balanced with a caramel aroma from the malts used. Flavour is balanced with the same citrusy hop flavours coinciding with the subtle malt sweetness from the steeping grains. Hop bitterness is in check for the style. This brew is like an American Pale ale but with more caramel richness and more American hop character.

2 of 5 Great at first March 2, 2016

I liked this beer for the first week I had it. But then it really lost its flavour and the hops disappeared. Which I know is to be expected, but I have made other Ambers that it stuck around a little longer. Not bad, just not my favourite

3 of 5 I enjoyed it September 11, 2013

Nice hop bitterness that doesn't hang around long, if anything I found a slight lack of flavour/taste to the ale itself but still something I would brew again, but this time in All Grain.
