5 of 5 Fast, EZ and Good Results May 18, 2017

I passed on the refillable system after reading in a few forums about the hassles of getting the tanks filled,   The disposable tanks are available everywhere and I was able to get a few on sale for 10 and change.   As a precaution I added and inline filter and I have been satisfied with the results.  I like how quick it is and doesn't leave my wort exposed very long ans less foam than the fish pump.

5 of 5 Decent little product for the price March 21, 2017

I bought this and was a little concerned about the regulator, as there's not much information about what it can hook up to. After spending 3 hours in town driving between Praxair, Western Canada Welding, and Acklands-Grainger, I learned from Praxair that this regulator has a CGA 601 fitting. Most refillable oxygen bottles have a CGA 540 fitting.

What I did find out was that these will work great with the DISPOSABLE Bernz-omatic Oxygen tanks. You can find these in Canadian Tire in the Welding/Brazing section. I picked up two bottles for 13.99 each.

For the ultimate oxygenation hack, ditch the oxygenation wand and use the oxygenation system here:

I have my setup coming off my plate chiller with quick connects onto a Tee with the oxygen stone and the thermometer. Basically setup like the local brewery does.
