This style of dark hoppy brew takes all the great qualities of a citrusy and pine flavoured India Pale Ale and adds layers of roast, chocolate, and caramel. A great hybrid of two styles. High bitterness from both the hops and the roasted grains. This one finishes dry and refreshing.

Damn good beer March 7, 2017

I usually do all grain batches but needed something quick and easy to put in the pipeline - this beer turned out great.  Easy to brew with complex flavours and just enough hoppiness.  Well balanced and nice bitter backbone as one would expect with this style of beer.  Will make again!
