Bought 4 feet of this tubing for my autosiphon which I bought on OBK as well. I had no problem since and it works great!

Don't use this tubing for autosiphon June 4, 2015
Reviewer: Eric Cousineau from North York, ON Canada
I tried using this tubing for my Fermentech Auto-siphon and it just wouldn't hold a prime. I would give it a few aggressive pumps and it would flow for 5 seconds then quit. I bought some 5/16 ID tubing from Rona and it worked first try. The auto-siphon was designed to work with 5/16 ID tubing. The tubing is here is 3/8 ID as advertised.

From fermentech's website:

"Use the recommended size hose, if available: 5/16"x7/16" hose for Regular 3/8" Auto-Siphons and 7/16"x9/16" hose for Large 1/2" Auto-Siphons. If you can't find the exact size you "may" need to purchase a small hose clamp at the hardware store for the connection, if it leaks air."

Works great with my auto siphon tube. Like others said make sure you get the right ID hose. That is the inside section, just measure it and find the right hose.
