Danstar Nottingham Dry Ale Yeast
Nottingham Yeast

Nottingham -- A very versatile dry ale yeast. Great performance all the way through fermentation and able to cover a wide variety of beer styles. The Nottingham strain was selected for it's high flocculation and near full attenuation properties. Produces low concentrations of fruity and estery aromas. Described as a neutral ale yeast which allows for full natural flavour of hops and malt to shine through.

Danstar Nottingham Dry Ale Yeast

Recommended fermentation temperature range between 14 to 21C (57 to 70F), with good tolerance to low fermentation temperatures (12C/54F) which also allows this strain to produce lager-style beer. Higher alcohol tolerance great for the creation of higher-alcohol specialty beers. The all-around dry ale yeast.

Great yeast September 9, 2013
Reviewer: Steve Wise from Guelph, ON Canada
This yeast floc's better then US-05. It subdues the hop flavour a little more then the 05, but goes low and make a nice dry beer. Use US-05 if you want the hops to shine. Use Notty for everything else.

Best all-round yeast August 25, 2013
Reviewer: Andy from Peterborough, ON Canada
I always keep a packet of this on hand. It ferments cleanly if you keep the temperature in check but has relatively low ester production even if fermented a bit warm. As others have noted, IPAs, American/Canadian ales and so forth suit this ideally. If brewing traditional milk stout, this is a must!

Great yeast! August 19, 2013
Reviewer: dr3wson from Chateauguay, QC Canada
I usually keep a packet in the fridge in case of emergency that another yeast didn't take off. Very versatile yeast! I used it in IPAs, Amber Ales, English style beers, and it always does a good job

Great yeast for English Ales August 15, 2013
Reviewer: Daniel Weihing from Omemee, ON Canada
This is my go to yeast for any English Ale. This yeast has great flocculation, and will leave a nice clean flavor, especially when used at a lower fermentation temp.
