ESB (Extra Special Bitter) (5.25 US Gal) Extract Kit with Specialty Grains

A malty and somewhat bitter English ale. Great drinkability, notes of caramel, but emphasis is on the bitterness. A fruity character comes through from the yeast esters, but balanced with the floral hops.

So Very Good April 23, 2017
Reviewer: Jack from Edmonton
I messed this one up, forgetting to add the pound of dextrose so it came out a little light.  Despite this, it was delicious.  If there weren't so many kits to try I would brew this again immediately.  Might be my favourite kit.

Good Results December 16, 2015
Reviewer: Turner from Calgary, AB
I liked this beer a lot. It has nice bitter flavour but is smooth on the palate with being too bitter.

Reviewer: Philip f from Calgary, AB Canada
its not as bitter as i like a bitter but i think that was my mistake making it in imperial volume on accident, still turned out excellent, tasty brew 5.5% was my final ABV but that was my fault will brew this properly next time.

Nice beer March 25, 2015

That beer is easy to brew and easy to drink. It's a good transition from Ale to IPA.
