Brew Pot and Kettle Accessories

Brewing requires several steps which include the following: (1) malting, (2) mashing, (3) lautering, (4) boiling, (5) fermenting, (6) conditioning and (7) filtering. All of these processes require the right tools like brewing pots and kettles. Many of these steps can be accomplished using a brew kettle throughout your brew day.

There are different types of pots that can be used to brew a single batch of beer. Some homebrewers use ordinary aluminum pots and pans to mash, lauter and boil grains, and some home brewers use specialized vessels for each process. These include a brewing pot, copper kettle, mash tun and lauter tun.

Getting different pots for each brewing step may seem essential; however, it is unnecessary. If you do not have ample space for your home brewing station, there are other options. Homebrewers who do not have the money to spend on buying specialized brew pots and pans, can adapt an ordinary pot by customizing it, using pot and kettle accessories. Not only does this help you save space but also a lot of money from buying too many pieces of equipment. (more info below)
