Intertap Chrome Plated Faucet

The Intertap Chrome Plated Faucet is great entry level choice and sports a wide range of revolutionary features. Traditionally beer taps use a rear sealing design, causing the beer in the tap to drain from the body of the tap due to a vent hole drilled directly into the front of the tap; causing a buildup of bacteria and wild yeast resulting in the quality of your beer to suffer. With the revolutionary Intertap tap design, worry no longer. The forward sealing design works to shut off the flow directly at the front of the tap, keeping your beer safe from harmful bacteria and wild yeast.

Intertap Chrome Plated Faucet

Intertap uses a sliding shuttle that holds the o-ring in the ideal position, causing a more reliable seal to be made. They use an easily removable threaded spout allowing the most versatility available when replacing the spout whether they be a stout spout, an English sparkler spout, a growler filler, or even a ball lock post spout. This eliminates the need to replace your beer taps, instead simply purchase the spouts that you need. Fits standard US shanks.

2 of 5 Don’t Buy Unless You Like Drinking Chrome July 12, 2018
Reviewer: John Avarino
Less than 6 months in, the chrome has almost completely dissolved off the inside of the taps. Just buy stainless. They do work great, I’ll give them that.

4 of 5 More foaming May 12, 2016
Reviewer: ASTG from Montréal, QC Canada
I ordered two and installed them two days ago. The flow seems faster than my regular taps. This might cause more foaming. But for sure, they dont stick as the regular tap does and that's a big improvement. That's mostly for that I got them...

Regarding the foam, I will make some adjustment and see if it corrects it.

EDIT 2016/05/01
(Added the 4th Star)
After adjusting my pouring technique and lower a little bit the CO2 pressure, I get a great collar every time.
