Mild Ale (5.25 US Gal) Extract Kit with Specialty Grains

A light flavoured, malt accented beer that is readily suited to drinking in quantity. A session beer. Refreshing, yet flavourful. Some describe it as a lower gravity brown porter. A malt focused beer combined with the English ale yeast makes for a wide range of flavours; caramel, toffee, nutty, chocolate, coffee, fruit, plum, raisin. Low bitterness, and a dry, roasted finish for great drinkability.

3 of 5 Very Mild October 30, 2014
Reviewer: Ryan from Clinton, ON
Theres nothing really wrong with this beer, its just I felt it had little taste to it at all. It was easy to brew, great color, head and mouthfeel, and would be a great beginner beer for someone just used to american lagers and looking to branch out.

I however would not get it again, OBK has far tastier beers available. ie: the IPA's, Blonde Ale, Best Bitter etc

5 of 5 So good I bought another!! May 17, 2014
Reviewer: Bill from Ottawa, ON Canada
OK so I lied a little, I just bottled the 1st batch and ordered the second because it was the deal of the day. But the sample I snucked while bottling was great.

5 of 5 Nice easy, sweet beer March 10, 2014
Reviewer: Brendon Brown from Summerside, PE Canada
This is a low-commitment, time-insensitive kit with what looks like will be a great resulting beer. I can't wait to keg it up and chill.
