The NZ Pacifica Hop Pellets are considered as the fingerprint replica of the Hallertau Mittelfruh. It is used as an aromatic hop that is reminiscent to the floral and citrus notes of its German lineage. It also adds additional spicy and cinnamon undertones which give off a subtle hint of orange marmalade. It also combines well with the Motueka hops to create a final brew that has a fruity, earthy and spicy hints. The final product produced by this particular hop has a soft bitter taste. It can also be used to create many versions of pale ale. It also blends well with Australian Galaxy, Simcoe and Centennial which produce different fruity notes that are reminiscent of apricots, mangoes and peaches. The reason for this is that the Alpha Acid content of the NZ Pacifica Hop Pellets is between 5% and 6%.
