Pumpkin Pie Porter (5.25 US Gal)

OBK Pumpkin Pie Porter -- This dessert porter is a mix of pumpkin pie and chocolate cake in your glass! Specialty malts provide a milk chocolatey profile which is combined with pumpkin spices (included) to make this a delicious, comforting, cold weather ale. An addition of lactose (milk sugar) creates a silky smooth, thick and luxurious mouthfeel and body. The right amount of hops balances the beer out for a bittersweet finish. Great for the holidays, sitting by the fire and a perfect pairing for festive meals!

Very, very good winter spice beer December 16, 2015
Reviewer: Shane N. from Regina, SK Canada
Made this batch end of Jan. 2015 for Thanksgiving - Oct. 2015. I have to force myself to stop drinking it in May / June - so that there would be some left.

A big hit from the relatives that were out for Thanksgiving. Only 3 bottles left.

Ordered a new kit for next year. Definitely will add this one to my winter beer rotation. Very, very good.

Delicious Porter! May 28, 2015
Reviewer: Rick from Brampton
I usually only make IPAs but wanted to add something else to my lineup. Although not my style of beer I gave it a shot and was not disappointed. It had an amazing flavor profile and the lactose gives it the full body that you expect from a porter. Definitely  one to try!
