The size and design of the mash paddle is great for 5 or 10 gallon igloo cooler mash tuns, and should be sturdy enough to move even thick mashes.
Unfortunately, the build quality was less than what was hoped for. The flat portion of the paddle exhibits pitting and the welds were not well executed nor ground. The result is many cavities to harbor microbial growth.
Overall it will be functional, but better value may be found other products.
