5 of 5 Works Great March 28, 2018

It's too beautiful, you won't be able to stop staring at it. I've had no leakage problems. Performs well when combined with the SS Brewtech's FTSS.

Considering the price. It's a pretty good unit. I've not had valve problems yet. Produced great IPA's with this one. It does have a learning curve to be able to use properly. I placed wheels on mine.

5 of 5 3 batches September 25, 2015
Reviewer: Paul Teather from London, ON
Have run three batches through both of my 17 gal. units so far without any problems. Have not have any problems with the valves leaking or trub hanging up in the lower 90 degree valve. I run it through until it clears to beer.
Mine are set up on a bench to a height that requires me to go up on a stool to access the top valve which isn't a problem. What I have found is the relief valve tri-clover connection is large enough to push a dry hop sock through and load the hops!
The unit is light enough that when empty, and up to now I'm using gravity to fill the kegs, that I can take it down to clean over a floor drain.
I give it 5 stars.

5 of 5 Love the conical October 26, 2014
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Ottawa, ON Canada
I bought one of these after shopping around a lot and I've been incredibly pleased with it. I chill it in an upright frost free freezer and clean in place with a spray ball and a sump pump. Would highly recommend.

Bought this to add to the 27 blichmann we already have. Bought for 15 gallon batches when the fermenator was already full. Found that both ball valves do not close 100% and both slowly leak (replacing with obk 3 piece obk ball valves we know are quality product).
Product really needs to add leg extensions a) so that you can rack direct to keg (note: you can rack to keg if you're applying co2 from the top inlet)
b) for pulling yeast as the 90degree really clogs compared to the blichmann with leg extensions and straight outlet, also it's so low to the ground that getting anything under it to catch yeast/trub is a frustrating task and lifting 17 gallons is not an option to raise the valve.
Overall Pros. Great closing mechanism with the latches, love the volume markings and thermowell but the thermometer should be included as most will buy it anyway
Cons: Terrible leaky ball valves, no leg extension option as of yet
Ultimately it would have been worth saving for the blichmann again
