2 of 5 Worked well for a while February 13, 2019
Reviewer: Mathieu Charbonneau from Blainville, QC Canada
I bought this in march of 2018 for my OBK 16gal kettle. It worked well for the summer. When winter came, it sat in the garage at around 10°C with the rest of the brewing stuff. I decided to brew one last time in november (no fan, I don't brew in the winter) and when it got hot it bent like crazy and the solders broke. Result: grain got into the BK and it was a mess. Now can't put it back in the mash kettle because it is bent and has no handle to pull it back. Be wary of temperature changes. If it weren't for that, I would give 5 stars, but I feel like surviving only 8-9 brewing sessions is too little for a false-bottom.

5 of 5 Great for HERMS January 31, 2018
Reviewer: Michael from Quebec
I use this false bottom in my E-HERMS system together with the 16 Gallon Stainless Steel Welded Graduated Brew Kettle. It works as expected. I can recirculate at full speed, which is about 1.5 gal/minute on my system. I get about 90% mash efficiency.
