This 6 inch probe thermometer makes it the ideal thermometer for use in a mash tun. The probe is positioned towards the center of the mash, giving more exposure to surroundings and a more accurate reading. This is designed to work in both kettles or kegs! All stainless steel construction with fast response thermometer. Includes high temperature food grade silicone gaskets.

For installation, simply drill a 1" hole in your vessel.

I have a few of these and have been pleasantly surprised at how accurate they read and how easy they are to install. A must-have for any brew pot, HLT, or Mash Tun.
