White Labs WLP810 San Francisco Lager Yeast -- Used to produce the style of beer, "California Common" It is a unique lager strain which has a different range of fermentation temperature. Has the ability to ferment up to 65 degrees while keeping it's lager characteristics. Also can be fermented down to 50 degrees for creating marzens, pilsners or other styles of lagers.

I've used this strain twice to make California Common. I fermented at the top of the temperature range, which is very high for a lager yeast, and got excellent clean fermentation that tasted exactly as I expected it to. The hops came through a little stronger than I had planned, but people are into that.
