Winter Warmer (5.25 US Gal) Extract Kit with Specialty Grains & Spices

A spicy, fruity strong dark amber ale reminiscent of the holiday season. A great sipper over the colder months. Full of cinnamon, nutmeg and all-spice to balance out the rich caramel malt sweetness and subtle chocolate notes.

Nice Spice and Aroma November 23, 2015

Perfect winter warmer! Nice spice and body to it. Would like to add some vanilla beans to it next time for another level of flavour.

Excellent June 11, 2015
Reviewer: Scott Millican from Fredericton, NB
Currently have this brewing with 1214 Belgian Abbey, smells fantastic as it ferments.

Plan is to split the batch into 2, one half aged on American Heavy Toast Oak soaked in bourbon, the other half aged on French Heavy Toast Oak soaked in Cuban Rum.

Doing this now, so it is ready by winter!!

Very nice winter ale February 9, 2014
Reviewer: Alex Crosby from Mississauga, ON Canada
Very nice, brewed this from the older DME kit, although I'm sure the LME is great too. Spices were subtle, but added a nice extra dimension of flavour. Definitely benefits from some aging.

Just be careful with these, very easy-drinking for a strong ale!
