Wintergreen leaves are used as flavouring agents in beer, and also soda. To impart the flavour in your brew, allow the wintergreen leaves to sit three to four days until they naturally begin to ferment, then add to the brew. To achieve this, boil 1/2 gallon of water, pour over 1 to 2 ounces of wintergreen leaves, cover, and allow to stand until fermentation begins.
