Wyeast 1084 - Irish Ale. A strong performer in dark worts, this versatile strain ferments extremely well in most high gravity brews. Produce a dry, crisp profile with subtle fruit notes at a lower temperature range. Complex esters and fruit characteristics will increase when temperatures during fermentation rise above 64°F (18°C).
Medium Flocculation. 71-75% Attenuation. 62-72°F (16-22°C) Temperature Range. Approximately 12% ABV Alcohol Tolerance. Possible Source: Guinness.
