Great product, use it all the time. Beer becomes extra clear and transparent. I use 1/2 table spoon per 5 gallon batch for a 15-minute boil.

If you want better clarity in your beer get it and I personally prefer having sea weeds in my brew than the weird fizzy thing that does the whirlfloc tablet

I put it in the brew pot, now my beer looks clearer, so $1 well spent, I suppose.

Irish Moss is awesome for clearing beer. Toss in a teaspoon during the last 15 mins of your boil and you'll be impressed with the results. Cheap and easy. If you want to take it a step further, look into adding gelatin after fermentation has finished.

A major advantage to homebrewing is to have full control over the purity of ingredients. If you've been careful about cleanliness and fresh ingredients up to this point, why use a chemical substitute for the real deal?

i use this stuff 20-10 minutes before the end of the boil lining up with my hop addition. I find it helps get a clean cold break and you can be slightly more slack on your cooling post boil. If you use a no chill method I would highly reccomend this stuff, i have done this with great success.

I add some every brew day as it makes a noticeable difference in the clarity of the finished beer. For best results I re-hydrate a 1/2 tsp in some warm water about 20 minutes before adding it to the end of the boil.

Used these loose leaf seaweed in a whet/rye brew and it pulled all the trub together making for a perfectly clear looking wheat rye ale!
