Aluminum Co2 Tanks Ship Empty

Brand new and recently manufactured, these tanks will not need testing for years!

Every Co2 cylinder is produced from high strength aluminum alloy 6061-T6. These tanks are popular because they are not as heavy as steel tanks and do not rust. The service pressure is up to 1800 PSI/124 BAR with a test pressure of 3000 PSI/207 BAR.

These cylinders are stamped with required U.S. Department of Transportation and Transport Canada Markings or stamped with DOT Markings. The 320 Valves are CGA approved, and have a male thread for Co2 Regulators.

Please Note - DOT and TC CO2 tanks manufactured after 1993 are approved for use in Canada. DOT approved CO2 cylinders are approved for use in Canada. And TC approved Co2 cylinders are approved for use in the USA.

If your local shop is refusing to fill either a DOT or TC stamped CO2 tank that was manufactured after 1993 please direct them to this link. You will find an outline of the current laws pertaining to CO2 tanks and should help get them up to date.

Buyer Beware! No Tc Stamp

Tank was not stamped with TC marking as advertised. Even though apparently this is accepted in Canada, 2 of 3 shops I went to for fill would not accept without the TC stamp. Might take a while for everyone to get accustomed. In the meantime, OBK has passed on this issue to the consumer. Contacted customer service and basically got an apology, nothing else. Not impressed, wished I knew this ahead of time.

High Quality Product

I just received my tank few days ago and I've got it filled the same day at my local brew store. I use that one to carbonate my kegs in my utility room. This is my second OBK tank. Would buy again.

Nice Small Tank

I bought this tank, and couldn't find anyone in the North to fill it. so I ended up exchanging it for $25 at Praxair North Bay for a full, crappy looking steel one.

Brand Spanking New

All sparkly and clean......I found a place where I live that actually does cylinder fills so I opted for a brand new tank rather than a tank exchange program. I liked the tank so much and it's priced so low I ordered a second one for carbing (so I don't have to take my tank out of tap service to carb) and to have on hand as a back up in case I ever run out over the weekend. I've had no issues getting either tank filled at my supplier.....actually the guy was impressed with the condition and quality of these tanks.

Excellent Tank

The price is good and this tank is excellent. Nice that is is brand new and clean looking as well. Fits great in my fridge.

Great little tank it been in my fridge for about 10 months and the first fill is still going about 15 kegs small and compact good for dispensing .

In Time For Christmas

My girlfriend bought this item for me for Christmas. She did a mistake on the address, but she was very happy with the service. Even if she didn't understand english, the product arrived on time and in perfect condition for Christmas.

Great Little Tank!

Beautiful Little Tank

These arrive in pristine, brand-new condition. The stamp on mine showed a very recent manufacturing date on it, which is important because these have to get hydrostatic tested every 5 years. Being aluminium, you don't have to worry about condensation in your kegerator causing rust. Make sure you have a place that will refill your tank near you. A lot of gas supply companies have gone to a swap service, and will promptly swap your nice, new tank with an uglier, older (and possibly steel) one.

Beautiful

If you like your CO2 tanks beautiful, this is the one for you! Works very well, light, fits easily everywhere. Good for about 10-12 Cornelius kegs in my experience. Mine are kept inside the kegerator/keezer.
