Stainless Steel Advanced Graduated Brew Kettle - 16 Gallon (61L)

Got three of these on sale for 119.99, They are on sale now during Black Friday sale for 99.99! A wicked deal. They are a lighter pot, great for electric all grain brewing, I used one once for a 10gallon extract batch over a gas burner and had some scorching on the bottom. My own fault, normally I don't do extracts or gas brewing. Will be replacing once I move up to my half a barrel (15g) or one barrel (31g) brewery.

I have this exact same kettle, but with the Welded option.Great quality for the price, and comes with OBK branded Valve and Thermometer. Love it! (You get less chances of leaks with the Welded option, search for it on OBK website)

This is my first purpose built brew kettle I got this as a present for myself on sale last fall when I moved up from a 5G aluminum stock pot (which I still use for sparge water) and have made over 10 batches with it with great results! For me it was an excellent way to move up to full volume boils for a very reasonable out lay cash-wise... I BIAB and can now do 10G (2 x corny) batches, though my kitchen stove takes its sweet time to get the boil rolling the fact that this pot straddles two gas burners fully it makes it possible to pull it off... Also having a ball-valve not only makes makes transferring fast but the fact it is a 3pc one ensures disassembly/cleaning it is quick and easy... I am quite pleased with this thing especially at the price!

Pot was easy to assemble, no leaks at the connections. The included thermometer agrees with my digital thermometer, which is a good sign. Two 11+ gallon batches made in it so far, neither was a boil over; both times I ended up with ~43-44 litres between my carboys, and had it boiling at the 14 gallon mark. It's certainly a bit tight for these slightly large 10 gallon batches, but it's doable, and a great value for the price.

I ordered a 16gal and an 8gal pot to replace my existing setup the first or second day they went on sale. I received within 2 days! Very easy and straight forward to put together. The gaskets are very thick so it makes the assembly very study and leak-free on the first attempt. I brewed with the new pots yesterday and everything went really smoothly. The heat distribution was excellent on my propane burner. The volume markings are a little hard to read when boiling due to steam and boiled matter sticking on the sides but a quick wipe and a flash light and I was able to see the markers. Very easy to clean after a brew day. If I had to buy another pot, I'd buy this one again!
