8 Gallon Stainless Steel Advanced Brew Kettle - Need a additional hole for additional fittings or heating element?

A quality brew kettle made from polished stainless steel. 8 (US) gallons (30L, 32 Quart) total volume with graduated volume markers from 1 to 7 gallons. A taller height to width ratio improves the boil, which leads to better beer. This brew kettle features weldless connections and includes a stainless steel two-piece ball valve, in addition to a 2" probe thermometer. Includes lid.

This is an entry level pot. It is a thinner gauge then our brand name OBKettles. Some dents and minor imperfections may be on the pot.

We recommend you purchase this product by itself. Shipping items inside the pot increases chances of damage during shipping. We will of course ship items inside a pot if you want. But we can not assume liability for damage if you choose to do so.

Oldie But A Goodie

Began brewing on this kettle over 5 years ago, still works great and stand the test of time. We have recently opened a local micro brewery, so its pretty cool to think this pot was the beginning of our brewing careers. Favorite part was the lightness, easy to move care, and clean, which is 90% of the work, and also the graduated markings can never wear off.

Great Kettle

Was shipped to Alberta in 4 business days. Followed the assembly instructions (took 5 mins) and no leaks. At first I thought it was a bit thin, but after brewing my first batch, I'm confident in this pot. Valve and thermometer are awesome.

Very Impressed And Very Happy!

I ordered a 16gal and an 8gal pot to replace my existing setup the first or second day they went on sale. I received within 2 days! Very easy and straight forward to put together. The gaskets are very thick so it makes the assembly very study and leak-free on the first attempt. I brewed with the new pots yesterday and everything went really smoothly. The heat distribution was excellent on my propane burner. I use this one as a HLT and I'm very satisfied with the quality and construction

Not Sure About This One

I have had this kettle for a year and it's warped. 27 batches seems to be the magic number. When I emailed to ask about warranty etc...I was met with the usual sarcasm that I expect from OBK, all good, I get it, you bought it, you broke it, but if this is just a beginner quality kettle it needs to be clearer in the description. I am saddened that it may be time to replace this kettle as it has made some wonderful beer in it's service. So short version is, don't buy it if you're going hard into this hobby, it aint got the stuff to withstand hardcore brewing.
