This is a USA FDA approved Camlock Flat Gasket. It is compatible with all 1/2" Female Style B, C, D & Dust Cap. Listed by the National Sanitation Foundation. (NSF 51).

Note Regarding "Fit":
Some may find that occasionally the male and female camlocks can be a little more difficult to connect than usual from time to time. Specifically, that it can take some more effort to close the locking cam arms. In many cases this can be attributed to manufacturing tolerances from lot to lot. Something as simple as the thickness of the gasket can affect how much pressure is needed to push on the cam arms.

If you find your mating pair to be difficult to close, consider the following tips before requesting a replacement or return:

Be sure to close both cam arms simultaneously, not one at a time
While closing the cam arms, push the two fittings together to compress the gasket slightly
A small amount of lubricant on the cams where the grooves contact helps (anything food grade such as vasoline to keg lube will work)
Break in the gaskets by leaving the mating pair connected for a few days, making it easier to reconnect in the future

They Are Thick!

Product is exactly what it says it is, but they are thick...very thick. at least 3 times the thickness of the gaskets that my camlocks came with.I cannot close the connection with my bare hands, in order to close the clamps I needed to use a 10 inch piece of pipe I had lying around as a lever.When you do finally get it closed, it's compressed so much that it blocks half the hole on the connection.This could very well be just the camlocks I have.Before you order pull the old gasket out and have a look at the thickness, these ones are 5mm thick, the ones that came with with my camlocks are 2mm.Good product, just not going to work with my equipment. I ended up using a 210 Silocone O-ring inside my camlocks and it worked perfectly.

Too thick for cams

Ordered a couple of these in June. Specs have them at 24mm thick, however the ones I received are 50mm. Cams won't close.
