Great Hop Balance

This is a great brew. The instructions that come with OBK kits are easy to follow and make short work of an extract brew session. I use fermcap to help ease the foam during the boil. This recepi has a great hop flavour and finishes with a balanced bitterness.

No Burst

Didn't get the 'burst' of aroma or flavour as expected. The bittering qualities are there, but the citrus and grapefruit flavours or aromas are not really noticeable. I don't think the hops were past their BB date so...? For me, an unremarkable IPA. It probably needs almost double the amount of hops or maybe swap the Columbus with Amarillo.

Tasty Brew

Intense hop aroma of grapefruit, with a balanced, medium bitter finish. Light to medium body. Looks great, tastes great.I found the hop profile to be similar to Muskoka Brewery's Detour.
