This recipe kit creates a full-bodied stout with all the classic flavours you'd expect, enhanced with added layers of oak, vanilla, and sweetness from oak chips aging in the beer. The oak chips provide similar flavours to beers aged in barrels. Add the chips after primary fermentation is finished and allow the beer to sit until, upon taste, it’s ready (typically one to two weeks soaking in the beer). As this is a recipe kit it does not contain alcohol, it includes ingredients required to brew your own. It is designed for homebrewers seeking a rich, oak-aged stout experience.
