The FermZilla is the successor to the Fermentasaurus, and this Tri-Clover version is the new updated 3.2 version which is now available for the first time in Canada.

This unique conical PET fermenter can be fully pressurizable up to 2.4 Bar working pressure. It is only possible thanks to the use of highly specialized PET grade plastic and the use of a new type of PET injection/blow molding machine.

Unique to these FermZilla Tri-Conicals are a myriad of improvements over the standard version that aim to provide all the advantages that tri-clover hardware and equipment provide. The bottom on the FermZilla is a 3" tri-clover ferrule that fits the newly redesigned tri-clover dump valve. In addition this NEW 3.2 version has a redesigned collection container that attaches directly to the dump valve eliminating the old 2" tri-clover harvest adapter. This reduces the amount of threaded connections on your system, streamlining and making it far more sanitary and easy to use.

These FermZilla fermenters come with all the improvements that were present with the Gen 3 FermZilla.

Some of these key features are the following:

• Fully 3" Tri-Clover Compatible - All connections on this improved 3.2 version are 3" tri-clover connections, eliminating the old harvest adapter and the 2" dump valve connection on the Gen 3.
• Larger Dump Valve - 3" tri-clover butterfly dump valve is more resistant to clogs from larger amounts of trub
• Larger Opening - 4 3/4" Top port allows for easier cleaning and access to the interior of the vessel
• Less Headspace - More appropriately sized for traditional 5 gallon batches. This new size makes purging the headspace of oxygen far easier and more effective.

Using crystal clear plastic allows homebrewers full view of the vessel and the ability to see the yeast in action. Easily dump yeast from the conical and clarify beer without needing to rack into another vessel. Cut down on unnecessary additional equipment and the risk of infection and oxidation by consolidating the fermenting, clarifying, and carbonation to one vessel.

One key feature of the FermZilla is that it gives homebrewers the ability to naturally carbonate their beer directly in the FermZilla allowing for direct dispensing. Thus eliminating the need for additional carbonation in a keg or in bottles.

Prior to using your FermZilla Fermenter a Hydro Test may be needed. Please refer to this Instruction Manual that contains vital information related to safely performing a Hydro Test on a FermZilla tank which is past its stamped certification date.

Please Note: Tanks may arrive with indents from shipping. These dents will push out and settle with use. Tanks may need certification before use. Prior to fermenting under pressure you will need the FermZilla Conical Fermenter Pressure Kit.
