There are different types of hop blends that are created to produce beers with interesting flavors. The US Falconer's Flight 7C is made from a blend of popular 'C' hop varieties which include Centennial, Cascade, Citra, Cluster, Chinook, Crystal and Columbus. It also contains various experimental varieties.

Produced by Hopunion LLC to honour the legendary brewing legend Glen Hay Falconer, this particular hop pellets blend serves a dual purpose. It is used not only to impart a delightful aroma to the finished brew but also bitterness.

It contains moderately high amounts of alpha acids at 9.5% to 10.5% and beta acids at 4% to 5%. Moreover, it has approximately 48% co-humulone which is responsible for the distinct tropical, citrus, lemon, floral and grapefruit tones of the beer. It provides earthy and spicy undertones to the brew. It also contains 1.7ml/100g total oil which gives the beer its moderately soft bitterness.

The US Falconer's Flight 7C hop pellets is suitable in creating different types of beers including American IPA, lager, pale ale, black IPA, APA and IBA. It can be used to make any kinds of beer that has awesome hop characteristics. If you cannot find this blend in your area, you can always substitute it with any two of its individual components.

Moreover, to ensure optimum freshness as possible, make sure that you store the hop pellets in a cold environment to prevent both alpha and beta acids from dissipating fast. It is also recommended to consume the hops within six months after opening the package.
