Overview

Please Note: Hops are packaged in LD Carlson or YCH packaging as stock varies.

There are bittering hop varieties, and then there's Magnum. Probably one of the most widely used bittering hops in the world, Magnum was bred to substitute Galena, which was an industry favourite for decades. Delivering a bold and rounded bitterness, Magnum exhibits notes of fruit and pepper in flavour, which makes it a very versatile hop. Andthanks to its high alpha content, this variety offers significant brewhouse economy, especially when brewing high gravity and high IBU beers. Suitable for virtually any beer style, Magnum is the bittering workhorse hop that should always be around when brewing beer.
