This Five Star PBW is a strong alkali cleaner that is widely used in commercial breweries across North America. Will not damage rubber gaskets, soft metals, or your skin. Can effectively clean items that can't be reached with a brush or sponge, and is strong enough to remove thick, difficult, caked-on organic soils.

Environmentally friendly, biodegradable, and will not harm septic systems.

Please Note: This is a refill for use with Line Cleaner Kit

Usage Directions:

Use 1/2 ounce per 1/2 gallon of hot water
Fill your pump station bottle with the recommended concentration of the cleaning solution and connect the fitting on the hose to the shank that you removed the faucet from
Pump the solution through the shank, line and tap, let soak, followed by flushing with two full bottles of water

Neglected Lines Look New

I'd been badly neglecting a line with a new addition to the family. Sat with beer in it for about 6-8 weeks. Put this stuff in, let it soak, drained a bit till clear, let it soak again, clear, repeat, rinse.Lines went from yellow to back to new. You could see the colour coming out.

Don't Buy The Kit!

No need to buy the kit! Just pour this in your empty, clean keg and run through your lines...

Skimming Off The Top

My bag weighed in at 6.25 ounces. I know the description says â€œapproximatelyâ€ 8 ounces, you expect up to 10% error, even anything between 7.5 - 8.5 ounces. At 6.25, including the bag so more like 6 ounces, thatâ€™s 25% less. Thereâ€™s no excuse for being that off. Weâ€™d never put 6 ounces Of hop in a tried and true recipe when it calls for 8 ounces and expect the same result, and we all hit the mark on ounces no problem. Why the difference? The product works just fine, but the packaging and retail is misleading.
