This German dark roasted malt is similar to black malt. Roasted with its husk intact to develop more pronounced dry and roasted flavours. Works great in Stouts, Porters, Brown Ales, Bocks, Doppelbock, Alt, Schwarzbier, etc. May also be used in smaller amounts for colour adjustment in lighter beers with minimal flavour contribution.
Use to intensify the dark roasted flavours and colour of darker beers.
