This Nukatap Mini Wall Mount Shank is specifically designed to accommodate Nukatap Mini Faucets, offering a more compact alternative to standard 5/8" BSP beer shanks. The drawback of traditional shanks lies in that they act as heat sinks since they sit situated inside insulated walls, resulting in the dispensing of warm beer before the cold flow begins. This issue is notably evident in the "first pour foam," causing beer waste, souring, and other undesirable effects that compromise beer quality. Thanks to the unique design of these shanks, the beer line directly feeds to the back of the beer faucet, significantly minimizing the amount of non-refrigerated beer.

If you've ever dealt with a standard beer shank, you know the annoyance of the beer faucet rotating during use. This NEW shank design tackles this problem by utilizing three screws to anchor the beer faucet securely in a fixed position, eliminating unintended rotation. Loosening the integrated faucet collar provides flexibility for rotating the faucet when necessary. When the collar is tightened, interlocking teeth on this shank and the Nukatap Mini Beer Faucet guarantee the faucet stays securely in place. A unique feature of these Mini Wall Mount Shanks is the ability for the internal duotight connection to be easily removed for cleaning. When removing your mini beer faucet from the shank the internal components can come out with the faucet, do not worry as this is by design as it allows you to clean the component and simply insert it back into the shank.

Standard beer shanks require a 22mm hole saw for drilling an appropriately sized hole in your wall. However with this innovative shank design all that's required is a standard 8mm drill bit as the hole only needs to be large enough to accommodate the diameter of the Polyethylene Tubing.

Usually when purchasing a beer shank you must be careful to choose one that is correctly sized to the wall you are trying to install it into. That is not the case with this wall shank as you can use the "snap off" points, allowing you to cut the screw down to the desired length. Alternatively if the wall is thicker than 3 1/8" then you can replace the included screws with longer ones to fit your desired setup.
