Duotight Closed System Co2 Transfer Kit

Looking for a much more affordable way to perform a closed system transfer? Look no further! These Duotight kits are designed to be fully Duotight compatible allowing the easy attachment of push-in fittings and other Duotight parts.

Duotight fittings are designed to work by simply pushing in the compatible tubing. For optimal performance it is recommended that when cutting your tubing it is cut straight, not on an angle, this helps to ensure a complete seal.

Inside each fitting are dual EPDM o-rings that provide superior sealing capacity due to having twice the sealing surface area when compared to other push in fittings. This makes Duotight fittings even more reliable and significantly reduces the chance of a leak.

It is designed to assist in a forced transfer with Co2 from a plastic carboy to your keg (or other vessel). Doing so severely reduces oxygen exposure which results in a better tasting beer. In addition it will help to reduce the risk of infection while transferring.

This kit uses ball lock disconnects, meaning that it can't be used with a pinlock setup without additional adapter hardware.

When transferring from one vessel to another it is recommended that you keep the Co2 levels around 1 - 2 psi. This is necessary as plastic carboys are not meant to hold pressure. Failure to do so may result in damages to your carboy (the carboy lid will most likely pop off first).
