2 of 5 super slow - sketchy February 3, 2021

I had a Hanna Ph Meter (79$) that died after 5 years (stored dry). I bought this model here and I'm calibrating it right now and fist use... 5 minutes ago it was at PH 7.35 and slowly going down. I've started this review at 7.11 and it's now at 7.06. It literally takes more than 5 minutes to have a reading ! And if you move it the reading start bouncing from 6.50 to 7.80 ish.
I'm now at 7.04 and it's still going down.
I wold not recommend this PH meter. ... now at 7.03... oh wait 7.02 !
remember that the PH was looking to be 7.35 at first.

So I will use that PM Meter as backup and find an other Hanna PH Meter that was working like the one I had before.
Btw - it's now at 7.00 which mean that if it's not going down anymore... it comes calibrated.
I will give one more star for that.

3 of 5 PH-98103 April 24, 2020

I bought this meter and also ordered the storage and cleaning solution.  Concerned that instructions state to keep the tip wet in storage but putting the storage solution in the tip and storing it upright and within 1-2 weeks it dries up and forms a white crystal substance on the probe and cap.  I see other posts online of similar concerns.  Not sure if this is normal or not.  Other than that I did recalibrate it and re-store it.  Will see what I get next brew day.
