Stainless Steel Tri-Clover Fitting - 1.5" TC X 3/4" Female Garden Hose

I was excited for this product when it became available as I use tri clamp wherever I can in my brewery. This particular GH adapter starts to cross-thread any Garden hose I've tried it with unfortunately. There is a gasket that comes with this, but because of the mismatched threads the garden hose does not install far enough to compress it. The only way I've been able to use this fitting at all is to load the male GH end to be installed with teflon tape and get a couple rotations in to hold in place. The fitting otherwise looks very well machined - the knurling is particularly nice.
