Stainless Steel False Bottom Assembly for Mash King Coolers

Homebrewers need to have the right equipment in order to brew beer. However, most home brewers have constraints when it comes to buying separate equipment to craft beer. Thus, using equipment that can turn ordinary brew kettles or coolers into a mash tun or lauter tun is very helpful and practical.

This stainless steel false bottom assembly kit is designed to be used with our Mash King Cooler. It is made from solid stainless steel construction thus it can withstand high temperature and constant use. The false bottom plate features 3/32" holes on 5/32" centers. The perforations are small enough to prevent the sediments from getting through the false bottom.

Since it is packaged as a kit assembly, it comes complete with all the necessary accessories such as a three-piece ball valve, compression fittings, bulkhead, and stainless steel tubing for easy installation. This particular false bottom has a 12-inch diameter thus it can fit any Cooler that is wide mouthed.

This false bottom assembly kit is very easy to assemble. It comes with a 3/8" steel barb fitting to easily connect the accessories to the stainless steel hose to get a secure and continuous flow of the clear wort from the false bottom. It can also be dismantled for quick cleaning. Simply remove the connectors and run the false bottom under a gentle stream of water to dislodge the sediment that adhered onto it.
