The Ss BrewTech 6.95 Gallon Brewmaster Bucket Fermenter provides all the great features of the brew bucket you have come to love, but introduces new components making the Brewmaster a suitable follow-up to the previous brew bucket. Due to feedback from brewers, Ss Brewtech has added a high quality weldless thermowell and a easy to read LCD thermometer. Adding these two parts eliminates the risks associated with installing your own thermowell, as well as providing a more comprehensive and useful temperature gauging experience compared to stick-on type thermometers. As with it's popular previous incarnation, the Brewmaster Bucket allows you to easily stack multiples on top of one another during fermentation. Another key aspect is it's conical base, allowing trub to settle at the bottom in a concentrated space minimizing the surface area that your beer is in contact with the trub during fermentation. Included also are a rotating racking arm, and a ball valve spigot assembly.

Clean Before Use

Great product but clean deeply with soap or tps before first use. I lost my first batch because of a thin film of tooling oil for manufacturing that was left inside.

Ss Brewtech Brew Bucket - 7 Gal.

Very happy with the brew bucket. Previously used 6.5 gal. carboys to ferment and despite using zip on covers with handles, managed to break two over the years! Luckily no injuries, but those things can be a hazardApart from the safety aspect, the brew bucket is a cinch to clean compared to a carboy.The conical bottom does an excellent job of concentrating the yeast sediment. In combination with the rotating pickup tube it makes it possible to capture almost every drop of beer without disturbing the sediment. Once the beer level gets close to the yeast you can watch it with the lid off and carefully rotate it downward.A bit expensive - but I would buy again - maybe a second one would be a good Xmas present suggestion to SWMBO!

Brewmaster Edition With Ftss Heater Upgrade

Where I ferment is 16C all summer long so I opted for the Brewmaster edition along with the FTSs Heater Upgrade kit, not the full FTSs kit. I chose the brewmaster edition because of the thermowell in the side. This SS Brewbucket is the best value for a stainless fermenter and if you want temperature control it's only $150 more. The combo with the FTSs heater kit makes fermenting at any temperature extremely easy for me. After purchasing the first one I liked it so much I got another one. These brewbuckets are super easy to clean and easier to handle than a carboy - probably one of my best homebrew investments. Everything Brian said in his review is spot-on!Cleaning is required prior to first use. You'll need TSP to clean any left over oil from production, BarKeepers Friend to work out any rough spots and StarSan to passivate. For a few extra bucks I picked up some stainless steel blow off tubs which compliment the setup and make it look really slick.
