This one-piece S-shaped airlock features a smaller chamber so you can closely observe the CO2 rising and, with that, the rate of fermentation. Fill the airlock with water and insert it into a drilled stopper to vent gases during fermentation. Also handy when you are cooling a beer as there is less chance of getting water sucked back into the fermenter. The innovative S design prevents backflow.

Better Than 3 Piece

This type of airlock bubbles both ways, which is useful during cold crashing - no 'suck back' that you get from 3 piece airlocks as the temp. drops.

Simple

The unibody plastic design makes this product much less cumbersome and more elegant than the 3 piece type.

Great Product, Order Extras At This Price.

They work amazing. I ordered 2. One for each carboy. I had one crack as it is pretty thin plastic. Considering they are so cheap I will order several on my next purchase. Good to have a few spares anyways. I like them much more than the 3 piece airlocks.

Simplicity Is Elegant

This single body construction is without fuss or breakable / losable parts. A lid isn't required but would be nice to reduce spills when pulling this from a carboy. Simply top it up with water or vodka and you are good to go.
