This Kegmenter All-In-One Unitank is made out of 304 Stainless Steel and is an easy to use vessel! It has a 58 liter (15.3 gallon) capacity and has been modified from a traditional commercial keg to allow for a wide range of uses such as fermenting, carbonating, serving, or pushing beer through a filter. The top of the vessel has a 4" Tri-Clover Clamp, EPDM Gasket, and Tri-Clover Cap Assembly with a hole that fits the included #3 Silicone Drilled Stopper and Air Lock (Twin Bubble S Type). This large top port makes it easy to get inside the keg to clean it out. Whereas the 58 liter size is perfect for doing 13 gallon (50 liter) batches while leaving spare head space inside of the Kegmenter.

You can upgrade the vessel with the Kegmenter Stainless Steel Tri-Clover Ball Lock Lid Kit - 4" TC which allows you to pressurize the vessel and use it as a Unitank, Pressurized Fermenter, or as a simple keg. Alternatively you can remove the included 4" Tri-Clover Cap and use any 4" Tri-Clover hardware you desire.

When pressurized it can hold up to 36 PSI, allowing you to carbonate and ferment in the same vessel. To carbonate using the Kegmenter you can use an adjustable pressure relief valve (spunding valve) or a Co2 Tank to force carbonate. Since it can hold pressure you can use it to push the beer out of the vessel directly through a filter or dispense directly to a draft tap.

Depending on the length of time between finishing and drinking your beer we recommend using two Kegmenters. One for fermentation and another for carbonating and serving. When fermentation is complete there with be a large amount of trub at the bottom of the Kegmenter. As such it is ideal not to leave the finished beer on the trub for too long (2 - 3 weeks), doing so may result in off flavours.

The chimes on the Kegmenter are designed to be taller than normal so you have enough clearance to fit the 4" Tri-Clover Kegmenter Lid with Ball Lock Posts and still be able to stack them up to 4 high.
