The female quick connect seals up very well without a lot of work when connecting. Will work with other SS quick connects (although, it does not work in conjunction with plastic or brass quick disconnects). These feature 1/2" Barb on the ends for easy connectivity to any 1/2" tubing you may have. Made from 304 stainless steel. For typical brewing applications, this connection will hold pressure when moving liquids at 60 PSI or less.

Seem Not Be Aging Very Well

Own six of them on a few hoses and 2 of them are starting to stuck on a regular basis after less than 10 batches of beer and good cleaning habits. The ball lock system and/or the spring inside may not work much longer.

Essential To Effective Rims

These connections greatly simplify washing my little setup after brewing. They also allow to modify your rim easily.Some connection are harder to connect but its not really a problem...Worth every dollars I spent

Perfect Fit With 1/2Id Silicon Tubing

Works extremely well - Good Quality - O-ring easily accessible for replacement. I bough those to make custom length silicon hoses. They fit perfectly into 1/2 ID Silicon Tubing - A stainless steel worm-drive band is required to secure.
