Sight Gauge and Ball Valve Kit. Fits 1/2" threaded port and has a 11" sight gauge. A great addition to the lowest port on a brew kettle. This allows two uses for the same port.

Simply measure from the port you plan on using to the top of the kettle to decide on which size is best for you.

Bad For Use With Pumps, Hard To Get It To Not Leak

Pros: great for the sight guage featureCons: The connection between the sight guage and the tee leaksIf you use a pump (my chugger is about 3ft below the valve) on the output of this valve, it tends to suck from the sight guage (which is vented on top, because it needs to be for it to work at all), which sucks air into the pump and disrupts the flow.I'd recommend placing the valve on a different kettle connection point and just putting a thermowell/thermometer into this unit. If you can get the guage threads to stop leaking.

Chipped Glass
