OBK Weldless Thermometer with 3" Dial & 6" Probe - With this unit you will be able to upgrade any vessel and enjoy monitoring important temperatures from a distance or while multi-tasking, no more opening lids to check wort or mash temperatures! Install this weldless thermometer and keep an eye on things from the outside!

This 6-inch probe thermometer makes it the ideal thermometer for use in a mash tun. The probe is positioned towards the center of the mash, giving more exposure to surroundings and more accurate reading. This is designed to work in both kettles or kegs! All stainless steel construction with a fast response thermometer. Includes high-temperature food-grade silicone gaskets.

To install the thermometer, drilling a 1" hole on the brew kettle is necessary. To keep the thermometer securely in place and to avoid leaks, it comes with food-grade silicone gaskets that can withstand high temperatures, as high as 500 degrees Celsius.

Please Note that this product ships as two parts and will require you to use your own PTFE tape.
