Stainless Steel Sight Gauge Adapter With Plug - 1/2" Male NPT X 1/8" Female NPT

A sight gauge or glass is a type of transparent tube which allows home brewers to observe the level of the liquid that is contained within the brew kettle. It is a great accessory for home brewers as it allows them to check the level of the liquid without the need to open the pot.

There are many ways to install a sight gauge to a brew kettle. A person can use a threaded fitting to secure it in place while others may opt for a sight gauge adapter with plug. A sight gauge adapter with plug is used to connect a sight glass to a weldless or thru-wall bulkhead fitting. This allows the adapter to be mounted directly to the pipe fittings.

This sight gauge adapter with plug is made from industrial-grade stainless steel that is resistant to high heat and corrosion. It features both 1/8" female and 1/2" male pipe threads which are used to screw the sight gauge in place. It is compatible with sight gauges measuring either 11 inches or 16 inches.

Since this adapter comes with a plug, the plug can be used to install a temperature probe or thermometer. Thereby making it easy to install accessories not only to monitor the water level but also the temperature of the wort.
